If its that big of a deal, http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/?...FSTsPgode2fNkg
now go make it look like whatever you want. All of this reminds me of those kids in the toy asle at the store when their mommy tells them they can't have what they want. We are all supposed to be adults and lets act like it.

Now paid
Now paid as requested.
Please let me know when you need a street address for shipping.
I'm very happy with pewter (as the colour should match my pewter belt-buckle).
Another item ordered that I can jones for!
Best regards

the jonesing begins......
Just clicked the *pay* button myself!
I'm really excited about making the X-Marks pin my very first Kilt pin!
Thanks for the organizing and providing another chance to get one. I'm sure there are a ton of folks who joined up after the first couple runs were done that were wishing for the chance as well.
Now,,to wait till another run of the X-marks shirts are done.....

Rob, I have just sent you the E-mail you requested - but I cannot find any way of paying you in advance, even by PayPal! Please advise.
My order is for one pin.
Many thanks indeed for all the hard work you are putting into this project - it is truly appreciated, believe me.

How do I get one? Send me an email to rob dot irons at mindspring.com with your name, Xmarks name, and email address where you want to receive the invoice. You do NOT have to pay through Paypal, there will be instructions for other methods, but it is easier for me if you do. Remember that you must pay first. I need to have enough payments to cover the deposit before they will begin making the pins.
And as Hank said above, we will only be doing the same pewter pin shown at the beginning of this thread and made for the prior runs.
twas on page 8 of this thread.
Hope that helps.

Thanks a million, I read 5 or 6 pages and once that one dude started whining about colors, I stopped reading. Thanks again.

Hi Folks,
I'm lucky enough to be married to veterinarian. Over the years I have picked up a very small measure of information regarding animal medicine.
That in mind, I would say that the horse some of you keep beating is quite dead.
I'd suggest moving on and stick with KCW's order for the pins.
Just my opinion.

The pewter pins are a symbol of people's commitment to and membership in Xmarks, and the copper pins are a special symbol of the mods who help support it. Hank did not have to develop or endorse any items for the site and could have just provided some speial token for the mods. Accept what is available or not, but please don't whine about it. You have been a user on this forum long enough to know it won't get you anywhere.
Give the guy a break. I also had the same thought and got over it. This forum is a friendly bunch of kilties and it is easy to feel a sort of ownership or family belonging just by participating, and to hear someone else is more important (read favorite son) rubs some people the wrong way. I understand the moderators do a lot of work and I am very thankful of that. I also think it is ok to have things available to them as a thank you for their hard work, but the misteak is advertising the fact on the forum. The original post should have stated it was available in pewter only and the moderators options should have been in private.
There is another forum I belong to that I don't post to because people jump all over you if you don't agree with them. I hope we don't send that message to our kilted member.
