Well, I really wish I'd ordered a Medium instead of a Small. The Small won't be able to fit a kilt under it, so hopefully I can exchange these at a local Target.

Tried them out at my local target. In most outfits, I wear an XXL so I thought to bring my brother, who wears an L. He had a hard time fitting into the XL, so I wonder about their sizing.

I was in Target last weekend and the only vests I saw were corduroy.

I have one like you posted pics of Jamie. They are very nice for the price. In fact I was in a local J Crew store and they had similar vests that were made with lighter material and didn't look as well lined as the Target vests, but they only cost $100 more than Target's so I'm sure that's a good deal.

thanks for the tip!
I saw this thread before it ran to 10 pages, and checked them out on a Christmas Target run, found one in my size, and now I have one too: thanks for the tip!
They're a great value, and mine was a big hit with a few people at my wife's office party last weekend. What a great find!

I tried on about 5 different XLs hoping one would randomly run a bit larger, but no dice. The tweed was very nice. Oh well.

Thought I'd resurect this as it was so popular....
Was at my local Target yesterday and noticed they had a whole new display of these in about 5-6 different patterns. I picked up a nice tweed with a brown satin back in an XL for $25. Thinking they may have adjusted the sizing based on some previous posts as I usually wear an XL and the XL fit me almost perfectly. I believe I will be able to get away with no alterations at all.

I have picked up now 4 or 5 of these vests and found that two of them were of a length that seemed to work with the kilt unaltered as well
