It's is supposed to be on its way to Chicago. In fact I was supposed to take it to a Chicago Men in Kilts kilt night tonite. But it hasn't arrived. There's another kilt night planned for tomorrow. Old Argonian is chomping at the bit.

And it seems that the USPS is chewing its cud.

I wasn't aware that there was going to be a kilt night this evening...I knew John had mentioned the possibility of an event, but I never heard about any specific dates.

Not to worry, Todd...that kilt night tonight was scheduled a while back by the other group, Chicago Men In Kilts. Since I'm tied up tonight, I suggested that McFarkus take the scarf to that event so we could get a photo with that gang. I had also advised a couple of the regular rabble that we might have a get together Saturday in honor of the scarf...all of this based on my figgering that it would be here by now but the US Mail is probably sending it by ox cart so it don't look hopeful.

Probably my fault for thinking that it would only take a couple of days for it to travel between two contiguous states!

Just a thought -Shouldn't we make it a standard -when shipping the scarf
we should use a priority mail or a more accountable service then just US mail.
some thing where you can track it and give updates as to where it is.
