And what would those restrictions be, if you don't mind me asking?

My girlfriend was very sceptical about men in kilts...since I wore it the first time in her presence she loves to see me kilted on any occasion....

So, just try to convince her by being irresistible ( or irresistibly...?) kilted

    Greetings, Tom

Probably not the best solution in the interests of matrimonial harmony, but my "compromise" would be to insist on imposing certain equivalent "restrictions" on what she wears and where! Perhaps when faced with the prospect of someone else deciding her wardrobe she'll see the light and let you dress yourself!

Well as mention in another thread. After getting a sportsmen and hose the misses let me wear my black watch outside. Once for celebration my birthday and again at my family reunion. I wore it again to the michigan Ren fest for the highland games.
So guys get your wife to one of these. It's the best shot at least try one on. When i tried on the got-kilt hybrid another prospective kilt wearer was trying to convince his wife. So my better half offer her the advice that the confidence he'll get it so worth it and make the kilt look great.
But as mention I bought a hybrid from got-kilt and its perhaps the only contemporary style she likes.
