    Well, the wood told me it had a bit of reptile in it ... so ... finished it natural with alligator hide grips ... and a polished copper foot with rubber tip ...

    The grips were my first attempts at stitching leather with an awl ... the bottom grip was to small to fit the top (bad cutting) ... and, I actually found out when sitting on the edge of a lake, it's easier to stand up with than the slick wood ...
