One thing to think about when naming a child after a relative, is that the child will always be known as "Little" in family conversations. Even when the child has grown, he will will always carry that description until the older family member passes away, and maybe even for a while afterwards.
I have an uncle named Tom as well as a cousin. The cousin is still known as Little Tom, even though he is nearing sixty years of age.

I've seen that carried to the extreme. My grandfather was Big Turpin, my uncle was Little Turpin and my brother was Least Turpin. (in the meantime he has become Big Turpin).
Congratulations to you and your wife, Jack! And a hearty welcome to Struan Alasdair.

Congratulations on the rather large little bundle of joy.
Good name choice too. That's a good strong name for a man.

Congratulations on the birth. I hope your spouse recovers quickly. 11 pounds 10 ounces is not a birth that she'll quickly forget though. Wow!
