Thank you my friend, Thanksgiving is a neglected holiday

Somebody hit me with a stick when mine arrives, as I am going home to take a nap and try to sleep off some of the wasted energy I have expended in eager anticipation of this tartan's arrival. I think it is time to take the "watched pot never boils" approach, and just forget about it for a few days, and maybe it will arrive while I am not thinking so much about it.

Now, do not despair!
If you are feeling neglected, I will be glad to consider sharing mine with you.

Mine came via UPS and was sitting on the porch when I arrived home, no signature or extra fees required.

Mine finally came today, after I had basically given up and contacted the seller about tracing the package. Almost anticlimactic now with little energy from the long wait left in me for joy.
Beautiful fabric though---deeply and richly colored, with great body and weight, and an extremely nice hand/finish. I cannot imagine a nicer kilting fabric out there, which is probably why this is what the scottish units wore for so many years. And exactly 5 meters as ordered, plus 1 inch.
Now give me a few days to think what I want to do with it. Still pondering the whole Campbell-MacDonald thing.
Addendum: And NO customs tariff fees!! Although it was pretty obvious that the bag had been opened and searched.

Unfortunately Bruce you are fourth on the list so far and, if I do decide to sell it instead of use it, I doubt that it will last that far down the list. Sorry. But I will keep you on the list just in case.
