Another Friday, kilt on! Walked down to the hardware store with the dog to buy a light bulb. As we were walking in, a guy behind me said "military twill" and when I turned he told me he also had a Black Watch kilt and indeed, a full outfit. I said cool and encouraged him to wear it more often!
If anyone had asked, I would have said I was kilted because it's comfortable and because it's St Margaret's day!

It was a Robbie Red USAK 5 yarder for me today! Wore a VMAC conversion Harris tweed. One of my residents said I was looking sharp.

Yes, another kilted Friday has come and gone. Today, as I have for the last four weeks, wore a kilt to the office. It was another great day with fewer people asking questions. It seems that they are getting used to seeing me in a kilt on Fridays.

It looks as though I can now consider myself a full fledged kiltie. I went to my favorite bar yesterday but because it was raining I wore p*nts, jeans actually. Three of the regulars asked why I wasn't wearing a kilt. The bartender said he wasn't sure he should serve me as I wasn't "properly" dressed.

Since today is the equivalent to Friday of a normal week, I am kilted at the office in my Heritage of Ireland. I hope all the rabble in the US have happy and safe Thanksgiving. Too all the rest of you, be happy and safe at whatever you do tomorrow.

Since you are one of the lucky ones to have Friday off as well, I will do my bit to hold up the tradition of Kilted Friday by being properly attired at work. No definite decision but MacRae Old Hunting is sounding good at the moment.

I might just jump on this "bandwagon" as well. Coming in to work kilted tomorrow, Friday. Maybe I'll just not restrict it to Fridays, though.
