Guinness!
Although I'm taking quite a liking to Well's Banana beer!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.

I forgot Warsteiner Dunkel, an excellent German dark beer. It's not too hoppy, if hops give you bitter-beer face.

Another vote of mine is a brew made here in Eugene, Oregon is Ninkasi Believer IPA. It has a bite that leaves a mark. Excellent quality.

I knew this thread would go long, and it has. And some good info as well. I'll throw in for Kentucky Ale, brewed right here and very good bottled. Much to our surprise, it has become available at the local minor league games in their own booth. As good as it is in the bottle, it is outstanding on tap. And if you also like bourbon, they make Kentucky Ale that is then aged in used bourbon barrels. This one is not for mass consumption, and can be pricey at $9 for a 4 pack, but well worth the effort if you can find it. Or come visit us here and try it sometime.

I have a favorite beer for different occasions, or meals. It's hard to pick just one.
