Since I two days ago heard about Jamie, he and his wife and children have constantly been in my thoughts and prayers, as they will be until the day Jamie has recovered. May that day be soon to come.

I have been passing a little bit of everyone's strength on to Jamie, and I feel charged, positively overcharged, with energy. Keep it coming! He spoke to me, although with an endotracheal tube in, one cannot make noise, it is still possible to move the lips. He said,"I want to go home", and then he tried to pull out the tube. When I told the nurse, she said she would have to put him in restraints if he kept it up....way to get tied up by a woman other than your wife, sweetie!
Seriously, I am not a religious, nor a spiritual person, but something is changing inside me because of all of you, and I truly believe the collective good will has saved his life (that and our ten year old son, without whom I would not have been able to perform effective CPR on Wednesday morning).
Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart!
Be well,
Star

Coming back to the computer and finding this thread was wrenching. Scrolling quickly through it was an emotional roller coaster. I am so glad to find such encouraging news. I pray a full recovery for Jamie, and reason to rejoice for all who hold him dear.

Powerful stuff this collective Xmarks thinking, from whichever and wherever those thoughts come from.
Glad to hear things are starting to improve all round and my thoughts have never been far away from you all.

I've only been on here twice in the last few months and on facebook about every other day so did not find out about Jamie's health problem until late yesterday. Our prayers and best wishes go out to Jamie, Star and their family. May the Lord keep you in His hands and watch over you during this time.

Thanks for posting, Star. The news sounds good, except for the "Nurse-bondage" thing. ;)
Star, we love you all, and we're going to keep on praying!

What encouraging news, Star - thank you for the updates! My late grandfather was a huge believer in the simple power of positive thought, and I've seen it in action enough times to believe there's something to it.
