Wow, 131 posts and no Clan Keith. Am I the only one??
According to the Keith Society web site their are two recognized mottos for Keith:
Veritas vincit (truth conquers)
Quae amissa salva (what has been lost is safe)- referencing the role that the Keith family played in protecting the Scottish Regalia (crown, scepter, sword and scabbard) from Oliver Cromwell's troops during 1651-2

My Mothers Clan (and the one I feel closest to):
Arthur (or MacArthur)
Motto : FIDE ET OPERA (Fidelity and work)
War cry : EISD O EISD (Listen o Listen)
My Fathers Clan: MacAlpine
No Official motto (No official clan badge)
War cry:Cuimhnich Bās Ailpein (Remember the Death of Alpin)
With these two clans as my background it only makes the following saying special to me:
"The hills and the streams and MacAlpin but from whence came forth MacArthur?"
SIWC

Dulcius ex Asperis? My latin isn't great but I'm pretty sure that's "Delicious with Asparagus".

I'll just add to my clansman's comment above. It's in French
"Garde Bien"
It also means "Watch well"
although us Montgomerys are very natty dressers to boot. Just look at our badge. How many badges incorporate a severed head
