I recently changed my avatar to an image of me in 'Macleay' style.

The photo of me was taken from the shots I took for my 'One kilt' thread, a link to which I added to my signature, and the background is Lochnagar, from one of Macleay's paintings.

Also in my signature is my family motto.

Avatar: Just managed to trace my roots far enough to associate myself with a clan (3 generations), so my image is the crest of the MacMillan clan.

Screen name : it's my name! I was named after one Ronald who was in the Glasgow City Police Pipe Band and another Ronald who was in the Edinburgh City Police Pipe Band, both good friends of my father.
