I hit 40 back in October. This one is easy to remember... I used to stop and do the math all the time, as age isn't something I'm really concerned with.
Interestingly (to me) there is a span of 40 years between my youngest and I, and there is also a span of 40 between my Dad and I.

I am 31. I am ravaged by RA, just this year I've lost an inch of hight bringing me to a grand total of 5 feet 4 inches. The Fibro makes me feel even older.
Mentally, I clock in at about 12 most days, maybe 15 on a good day. Life is just to good to waste time feeling old. You gotta laugh, have fun, chase after your wife as though you were still teenagers looking to fog up the windows, and try to live with no worries.

I feel ya, Dread. My wife has RA. We don't know what I have yet, but I've been hurting all over for years myself. Hang in there and be careful with the drugs that can give you TB and cancer.

I take no drugs. Only asprin on inflamation fever days.
The drugs made me feel older and worse. Getting off of 30 some odd pills a day made me feel tons younger.
