My outgoing item was delivered to the nearest US Post Office on March 23rd, however the recipient lives a bit out of the city- he doesn't get in to town everyday, but it sure is a pretty place he comes into town from. I am not worried yet.

Ack, this happened to me when sending the wee scarf along on its journey, although it was crossing an interantional border at the time. Hope it surfaces soon.

Not really the same as your problems with the postal service Standard, the scarf has been sitting at the recipients nearest Post Office, since 23 March 2012, awaiting pick up.

Is the recipient aware of his being next in line here or has something prevented him from getting into town?
