Ohh! Great series, in fact I think Boneshaker (while good) is probably the least exciting of the bunch! Just wait until you get to Dreadnought!
BTW: do read them in order, as the stories all link together.
The author Cherie Priest had Boneshaker optioned a few years ago, but right now it's sort of sitting in movie limbo. Fingers crossed for a GOOD screen adaptation.
Steampunk FTW!

This is my first steampunk book. The cover always catches my eye at the bookstore so I figured it was finally time to read the damn thing.
And speaking of Terry Pratchett, have you seen the tv version of Going Postal?

Alan Furst's "Spies of the Balkans", Rex Stout's "Black Orchids", John Senior's "The Restoration of Christian Culture". I've only just finished the introduction to Bradley J. Birzer's "American Cicero: The Life of Charles Carroll" so that may or may not count as "currently reading".

Finally got around to reading "Snow Crash" by Neal Stephenson. It's interesting how well it's held up, from a technological perspective, since it's release twenty years ago.

I'm starting "Cain at Gettysburg" by Ralph Peters. I'm a huge Civil War buff and Peters is a phenomenal author. He wrote under the pseudonym of Owen Parry and did a series of Civil War "mystery" type novels following the main character of Capt. Abel Jones. Really great stuff all-around.

I just finished reading Ender's Game. Now I'm reading Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwell.

Scarpetta will keep you reading. I just finished a VERY exciting book titled "Patient One" by Leonard Goldberg. Story revolves around a threat to the President and a doc who used to be special forces. This book was very hard to put down.
Before that, it was "Backfire" by Catherine Coulter, and currently it's a new one by an author I haven't read previously titled "A Touch of Malice (A Nick Brasso Thriller)" again involving a U.S. President. So far, it's pretty exciting as well!

Frank,
I like the Kay Scarpetta novels as well as the Temperance Brennan (Bones) novels.
