With this Kilted Friday, being the 275th Anniversary of the Battle of Culloden I donned my Black Stewart tartan semi-trad USA Kilt and visited the Hugh Mercer Apothecary Shop in historic downtown Fredericksburg. Had a nice chat with the docent pictured here. Later grabbed lunch outside at Sammy T's restaurant watching the many folks passing by enjoying the day.

Friday came early this week (kilted Monday): Kilt is USA Semi Formal in Weathered Scot.

That's a very interesting sporran you've got there friend - care to tell us a bit more about it? Does it have two pockets?
It’s a sporran made by KommandoKilts, and it has three pockets (one on the flap, two under). https://www.kommandokilts.com/produc...an-with-plonge

A little Friday daywear for me today. It's been awhile since I've been able to kilt up, and I decided to make the most of it. Hard to beat Fraser Red Ancient for a bright, cheery, spring-themed outfit.

Another early kilted Friday (on Monday)
I received a new kilt this weekend, my first tweed. The receipt from USAkilts says the tartan is Buchanan tweed, another site called it Autumn.
Tweed may become a problem for my wallet, I really like the muted colors and texture this brings to the table...
