Well, I'm almost finished packing, the details are taken care of - I think....
I fly out of here at 18:45 tomorrow so I still have a bit of time. Lordy...
Robertson - Is there a dry cleaner nearby where I can get some stuff pressed? The kilts will most likely be OK but the jacket and shirt I have some doubts about.
AND I can't find the formal tie that I want to wear -- I assume that I can buy a silver long tie at perhaps "Anderson's"? If not you folks may have to endure me as the perpetual "Ugly American" in a jumper, kilt and Argyll jacket.

These are all the Welsh Beers I am bringing with me for you all to try. Would get more bottles, but with everything else its all getting a bit weighty. The Tamnavoulin by the way is half empty, I'm only bringing that cause David said I had to!

Well, we have had the heaviest snowfall for years overnight (pics soon in the pics section!) which now, at 2.00pm, shows no sign of thawing, so I hope that has cleared by pre-dawn on Friday. The over 400 mile drive is daunting enough without snow, and maybe ice, to contend with - we're just not used to it! Mercifully, after 160 miles, I'll be picking up Derek from where we'll share the driving. I'd hate to have to miss the Kilts Night pub crawl on Friday evening by being stuck in snowdrifts!
