It's a good thing my passport expired, or I would be very tempted to let Mr. Mastercard pay for a little trip this weekend.
Have a great time guys. I look forward to the photo journal.

Thinking of you all this Burns Night
Well, folks, I am sorry that I can't join you in Ferintosh where I spent five glorious days last summer. I am booked into a Burns supper in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh the same night. But I will be thinking of you all.
And just last weekend I went back to baking the brown bread that I learned to make over thirty years ago and which tastes as good as ever. Great with smoked salmon and lemon (or indeed, anything you care to put on it).
I could have brought five loaves and a few fishies with me... dunno about the feeding of the five thousand, but I could stretch to the rabble at Ferintosh!
All the best

Well, signing off now. The taxi should be here in 20 mins to take me to the airport. No rank-ups or birthdays for a bit. Probably no posts either as 11 XMarkers trying to use the Laird and Lady's computer might be just a bit tight and I refuse to drag a laptop with me.
Camera is packed.

Have much fun sir, and we can wait for your return to see the pictures! That goes for all of you, enjoy your dinner and your fellowship and those of us in cyber space will live through the 11 of you vicariously!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
