A very exciting and interesting series. Thank you for all the pictures. Now we await the last one.....Hamish wearing it..... will he be next to the sundial?
I have seen the "Extreme Ironing" calendars http://www.amazon.com/Extreme-Ironin.../dp/1604346183
......how about "extreme kiltmaking" calendars....

Hey, this is better than the Flight of the Saltire. Sahara, Iceland, where next indeed! And of course, who next?

Remarkable! A kilt building travelogue thread. I'm nominating Barb for an academy award for this one!
I can't wait to see it in Ham's hands!

What a great pictorial. I've shown a number of friends the pics of you working on a moving boat/ferry. That's talent and confidence. I can't imagine what my fingers would look like after sewing on a moving transport.
Thanks for sharing, and please thank your photographer for the great images.

Hi Barb,
Great photos as usual. Looking forward to Hamish's reveal (and looking forward to receiving my own "Barb Tewksbury" hand sewn in the near future)!

Barb,
Thanks for sharing! They are terrific pictures and it is a terrific tartan!
I too, hope there will be more to follow.

Don't forget Scotland (where it was woven), Pennsylvania (to me for material inspection), New York (to Barb) and THEN off to Iceland.

Me too! I just spoke with Barb today, looks like the middle of August. The Jonesing is getting worse.

Barb, what is this tool? Is it used to help set the pleat?
