Just a bump on this topic...
The Tucson Celtic Festival is tomorrow and Sunday. I'll be there with my family both days. We're both competing in the games. Stop by and say "Hi".

Burly Brute, I think I saw you a couple times from a distance...We'll be back tomorrow too, but I'm throwing. Stop by the athletics tents if you get a chance.

I was there with Glendale PD. How is the fellow from the Caber Toss? I was on the far side of the field when he was hurt. As a Nurse I was concerned.

As I understand it, he was throwing in the 190 Class, dropped the caber and turned his back to walk away (big mistake)...It bounced back up and smacked him in the back of the head. He knew what day of the week it was and where he was, but blanked out on his name. He refused medical service, was ordered to sit out the rest of the events by the judges and event staff, and sat on the bleachers with his wife the rest of the games. Hopefully he is OK.

Here are the details:
The Sonoran Scotsmen are once again joining forces with the Tempe Community Action Agency and D'Arcy McGee's Irish pub to help out for the holidays!
