Hooligans in Asheville Feb 19th

Absolutely. Trail conditions out there are great right now...packed snow and off-trail the snow is still about 10" deep (at least it was day before yesterday).

I'm always up for leading a hike, so if you want to go we can definitely make it happen. Don't forget that is my summer job!

If there is interest, I'd be up for hitting a few breweries prior to the show. For you out-of-town folks, Asheville is quickly becoming the hotbed of craft beer brewing in the southeastern US, with 7 breweries now in production, all of which have tasting rooms open on Fridays! Beer sampling, dinner at Jack of the Wood public house, and then the Hooligans! Sounds like a great evening!

If the weather is decent, I'd also be up for leading a kilted hike the next day.

Dang, I wish I lived closer. I would really like to go on a hike with you too. So, now that I missed it, how did the two days go? Pictures?

Well, the concert was great as usual. These guys really put on one heck of a show.

No photos...forgot the camera.

Got out for two hikes last weekend, both evolved into work trips as there were so many downed branches and trees due to the last two months worth of storms that I was inspired to take the chain saw with me and get a head start on the years' trail clearing tasks.
