I think I would like to try to make this event. I can't think of anything else I have planned that weekend. It'll be Saturday for me, then.
Regards,
Rex.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

My fingers are crossed. The issue (i.e. work) that is not allowing us to stay the entire weekend, may still cause me to miss coming up there on Saturday. I will continue to keep my fingers crossed, as I try to make alternative plans for work.

Just realized something that helped me sidestep a major faux pas, but which will limit my attendance to Saturday only and no overnight camping. After checking the calendar I realized that not only is Sunday Mother's Day, it also happens to be the anniversary of my wife's first son's (his name was Codie) passing due to leukemia, a day which she needs a lot of support on, especially since it coincides with Mother's Day. So I will be spending the day with her and our young boy Carter trying to do family things and help keep her mind off the unpleasant memories, while still allowing her to remember the good times with Codie.
So we will have to leave the Sunday festivities to the rest of the rabble.
Hey, should we try to meet up sometime Saturday for a drink (or six) and a get to know each other? Sounds like there will at least be a few of us there from the area who are xmarkers but who have never formally met. Good time for a picture or two as well. Since this is my first to this event I do not know the lay of the land, so anybody who has been before might suggest a time and place for a gathering.

10AM at the cross would fit into my pipe band schedule.
Now, as to drinks - since KSW takes place at Gen. Butler STATE PARK (no alcohol), any (ahem) adult beverages would have to be on the Q.T. (flasks, etc.). Alternatively, there's a pizza joint about a mile or so back towards I-71, on the left - don't remember the name, offhand.
