Thank you! I guess you're the unofficial event planner now

I suppose so. All the questions you are asking I have been asking myself, so might as well share. Besides, I owe my wife a nice night out.

That's so sweet! I think it's good to get out and get all dressed up once in a while!
We are definitely going BTW-- haven't bought tickets yet, but it's definitely on
Also, I'm trying very hard to recruit my brother and his wife...
Looking forward to meeting you Brice! And anyone else who comes

I am still waiting to buy my tickets as well. But, I am not even going to bother with my twin brother. I know he won't go. Not just for the kilt, but the money as well (just lost his job).

Ali,
My wife was wondering what you are going to wear. She wants to get an idea, because she is not sure if she should wear a skirt or a dress.

Well....
I am planning on wearing a black full length ball skirt and a white shirt and sash... does that help? If you want I can email you what I had in mind...

Weren't you here for the 5 days that I was a moderator? You can read all about it in the mod introduction thread in the general kilt talk...

Alrighty then, I decided to post the pictures here in case anyone else wants to see them:
Here is the skirt that I am using as inspiration for the one I am making (which I will post pictures of on the DIY board soon). Picture it in black:
And here are the shoes I bought:
And then a long sleeved white shirt of some sort... (that part is still fuzzy)
And a silk tartan sash and brooch.
Does that help?
