I did also. And I learned a lot about the Scottish English riff and the importance of July1st. The act, going to be doing more digging on the history on this one. Seems a lot of the reason the new world has so many great Scots from the late 1700's.

Seems there are at least a half dozen differing "historical" accounts on who did what and why for just about everything from the 1500s thru the 1800s depending on the author. Seems getting behind the July 1st thing has opened a messy bag of worms.
