Unfortunately I am unable to make this. I have a company outing that evening where my presence is required (mandatory).
I do plan attending the Games at Loon at least one day (probably Sunday) but those plans are up in the air. I will know as the date gets closer

How late we will be staying at The Haven will depend on the number of participants. I am sure Cessna152Towser will want to meet as many X-markers as possible, however, it does not look like there will be very many in attendance at this time. There must be some New England kilted that can bring themselves and their S/O to a night out in Boston that is quite frugal on the wallet.

As promised:
The World Famous Scottish Cuisine - Haggis Neeps and Tatties.
And for the chippies following, the chips here are the real thing with malt vinegar and rashers of salt.

Would be better if it were the first (of many) free pint!

The festivities start when the first kilted gent arrives at The Haven. That said, I expect that it will be a bit after British Airways arrives at Logan before Cesna152towser can clear immigration, and retrieve his luggage. I then need to transport him to The Haven. I expect to arrive between 7:30 and 8:00 P.M.
I hope to see many kilts there.
A very interesting evening at this pub. I brought my pipes with me to find a place with plenty of room for the piper for the event. A few small children were very curious about the pipes, so I took the time to explain them and show them the parts that make them work. A short demo of how the sounds work was a big hit with both the children and their parents.
I then enjoyed my meal and beverage with the pipes left beside me on the bar. Their was a new group of young men that had sidled up to the other end of the bar. After paying my tab, and confirming the next nights plans with the proprietor, I walked back to where I was eating, grabbed my pipes and headed for the door. As I turned to open the door, one of the newly arrived gents fell off his stool when he saw my pipes. One of his mates asked what he expected in a Scottish pub.

I am on my way. Left home in Hawick, Scotland almost four hours ago. Currently logged on at Newcastle Airport. Flying to London Heathrow shortly then on to Boston Logan. See you later today folks, hope I won't be too tired for the festivities.

Latest update from British Airways is arrival at Logan 18:58. This will delay his arrival at The Haven until about 8:00 to 8:30...... This is due to a late departure from Heathrow.
See you at The Haven.
