Wow. 'Special' doesn't begin to describe that. Stunning, really.

I've always been fond of Hamish's tartan, and Paul's execution on your new kilt is absolutely amazing. (I'm a pleated-to-the-stripe guy as well)
Congratulation to all on your new wearable masterpiece.

Looking splendid, Jamie!
You do both Hamish and his tartan proud!
Great workmanship by Paul, too.

I do have to ask, where did you got that jacket?
ST
The jacket was from Heritage of Scotland and I paid a little over $300 for it (delivered). I think it was MacMillian's Son (aka Brooke) who recommended them to me. They had a lot of tweed selections and I appreciated all the jacket options that made their argylls very easy to customize. I already had a very common (yet attractive) lovatt blue tweed jacket and waistcoat and wanted something a little more fun and bright to mix things up. Anyway I am very pleased and would recommend HoS for their jackets.
Cheers

I completely agree with this comment and an "Aye" just wouldn't do it.

Excellent. Very nice Kilt, Jamie.
So what makes you so special, eh? You now have TWO kilts that we can't get our hands on for love nor money!
I'm only kidding, Jamie, wear it in good health.
Oh, and welcome to the illustrious PHKOC. You are in grand company.

This is very gracious of Hamish. As McMurdo said, if Hamish would share his tartan with anyone, it's fitting that it's you. It's a beautiful kilt and you wear it well, Jamie. By the way, the foxes are looking up your kilt!
