I love snow. I guess it’s because we get it so
seldom, maybe 6" a year.
What you have there would shut down the old north state for about a week.
Good to finally put a face with the name.

People look at you funny when you tell 'em we get snow in New Mexico, they think the entire state is desert! Graham since those photos were taken there's three more inches piled on top of what you see 8)

Hey Rob... Lookin' good man! Crap weather notwithstanding, at least you get to wear your kilts to work! I'm at 42deg north & we've got no snow! I don't mind one bit either. Don't suppose it will last though. I'm dreaming of a green Christmas! In a kilt of course.

Used to hear the same thing about Arizona all the time, obviously those folks had never been to Flagstaff in the winter, eh Ron & Rob?

For everybodies info, the kilt I'm wearing is my Navy Blue Victory kilt from USAKilts, working in a kitchen behind a grill even in winter is hot work. I wouldn't trade my Victory for the finest poly-vis or hand sewn wool kilt(as far as cooking in a kilt goes). So far over the last five months this kilt has taken a beating and it has held up better than I have ever expected.

Whoa neigbor! You got dumped on.
I'm about 400 miles north of you, but probably lower at 4,300ft. We get to look at the snow on the cliffs and mountains around us, but get little more than a dusting.
No wonder you're in a ski area there.
You're a braver man than I sir.

Yea Ron, I'm situated at 9000 ft People think I'm nuts for owning a 4x4. It's only 6/10 of a mile to the main road from where I live but the county will not grade it so sometimes it can be quite the adventure to just get to the highway.
The local ski area, two miles from town and the southern mosr ski area in the US, has not opened yet but if we get one more good snowfall, might be sunday if the system drops far enough south, they will open.
