Face sporrans are readily available on the net made from various critters, from badgers, to fox to skunks. They do tend to be a bit pricey.

Someone I know who will remain nameless (but he did start a big forum for people to talk about kilts) bought a hideously ugly aligator head purse on ebay. He wants to have it turned into a sporan. I think it is ugly but he showed it to some people at the celtic festival and they seemed to think it would be cool. I don't know if they were just trying not to hurt his feelings though...
A friend of ours bought a BEAUTIFUL animal head sporan from Rocky. He bought a black fox sporan and it was one of the most beautiful animal head sporans I have seen.
I hope that sporan is spelled "sporan" and not "sporran". Otherwise I have misspelled it through this whole post.

Deetz, my mother had a purse like that and I intend to see if she still has it. If so, I'm going to try to talk her out of it. Gator sporran appeals to me.

www.sporrans.com has some really interesting full face sporrans. I personnaly like the raccoon, as he looks like he is happy to be a sporran.

If I felt like I could afford and pull off a full face mask sporran, I would easily go for the Canadian Lynx

They are rather pricey. Do you think I could get a discount if I sent them a live possum to replace the one I want to wear? I have one in my barn that keeps eating my chicken feed that would be perfect for hanging on a leather strap.
