I thought I saw those last time I was in the shop. I just assumed it was his. I got mine from David at Canadakilt.

I forgot to mention previously, but check out these guys for sporrans. I don't know what they are like, as I have never dealt with them, but I love the look of some of these sporrans. http://www.leathersporran.co.uk/default.htm

This has been on my to get list for ages http://www.leathersporran.co.uk/Scot...nzie-targe.htm

Straps indeed - where are they available? Not the loops but a full separate belt for the sporran.

Several places carry them. I think Freelander is now making them, but don't quote me on that.

I ordered one from Highland Express some time ago, very inexpensive, and I got what I paid for. They don't make them, so I don't fault them. It is functional, but the strap is a little too wide for the buckle, so it is a little inconvenient...

Any Highland outfitter should have them...

I believe you can also go to Wal-Mart and buy a women's leather belt in a large (very large) size, it should be thin enough. I was going to do this, but couldn't find one big enough. This is an inexpensive way to go.....

Bear's Knotwork is looking very tempting just because of the included strap!

Do't over analyse the Situation. If the price is right and that sporran is what you are looking for, Go for it.

Robert at RKilts sells them or you might make your own. A strip of leather, 2 clips and a buckle
