    Take a look at my photo gallery. This is what I wore to my brother's wedding reception (held two month's after the wedding).

    Not a great photo, but I was comfortable and received many complements.

    I would check with the bride, and make sure she is OK with you being kilted. It is her day and you might not want to steal too much attention away from her.
    And you may ask yourself, Well how did I get here?

    We dressed a friend of ours up in a kilt for his wedding reception, and it almost caused the first tiff of married life for him when people were more interested in his kilt than his new wife's dress! Thank goodness we did it after the ceremony rather than before, or else it might not have taken place at all!

    Assuming the bride is ok with it, I would tend to dress slightly better than the rest of the people there. That way people wont assume you are being kilted for attention, a sad misconception I've run into a few times.
