It would seem that the wish lists of our little slice of demographic prefers the traditional styles a bit more than modern. My personal wish list would certainly include a few more 'tanks'. However, a leather kilt cut to traditional dimensions would also be pretty nice.
Kilt-addiction is a tenacious beast. Can it ever be satiated?

(...I too think a cottage in the highlands wouild be pretty awsome.)

Hmmm, unlimited funds?
First and formost, two leather kilts black and brown
Another tank or two, or three (or 12)
Several more traditional in P-V.
One complete formal outfit, head to toe (including fly) in the Polaris tartan.
Then on to the accessories...
Maybe two more day sporrans.
Two more semi-dress sporrans
One more full dress sporran.
Several belts with a selection of buckles
Hose, I never seem to have enough
I figure all that would rough out to somewhere around 10K.
Then do something like set up a slush fund with the board so that every newbie without a kilt gets a starter casual kilt.

slush fund
Mike,
I REALLY REALLY like the slush fund idea!
My purchases would include a tank in modern macgregor, all the frills and bells to go with such and at least two morw kilts to wear everyday. but i still really like the newbie slush fund.

Leather... maybe 2 or 3 of those, a few FK's, one or two two-toned PK, some denim PK's, at least one (maybe 2) full dress kits. And what the heck, a few good solid traditionals (at least one in a Keith tartan).

Hey Doc, Freedom kilts are great but I make the leather kilts at "R"Kilts ooops
But I'll play too. I think as an accessory, I would like to have a BMW boxer with a sidecar to carry my leather kilts in style.

Because I like to round up, need 10 more.
Grand total 400!!!
That's roughly 1/4 million bucks worth of kilt! You'd probably need an addition to you house to put them in!
All this and an understanding spousericeless

Sorry about that Robert. I knew the kilts I wanted, just hung the wrong name on them. I'll go fix it.
