Exactly - that is why it is appropriate that gay kilties stick to The Sporran Clan. I would not dream of crossing the boundaries here. My comment was trying to clarify to your straight members that whilst we don't really have any objection to straights in the Clan (in fact a few male fag hags might be fun) they might get bored with some of the material - although we likewise cover subjects like - how to wear the kilt: what to wear with the kilt and under; highland games, ceilidhs, news; kilts in the military; and so on etc - there are other topics that particulary appeal to a gay.bi kiltie. Anyway enough of this - the main thurst is that we are all here to promote kilt wearing as extensively as possible.
Changing subject: Sat hot news - Cambridge University has banned graduates from wearing the kilt at graduation - front page news Edinburgh 'Scotsman' newspaper. Outrageous!
Just in case anyone is folowing the thread about the sporran clan - there is a kilted pub night tonight and every second Saturday in the month - soon the highland games season will start and there will be regular games visits - later in August an annual trip to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo
