I'm glad you got a refund.
I also ordered a sporran from them and it arrived in fine condition (http://i18.ebayimg.com/02/i/02/a2/06/c0_1_b.JPG).
For the price I think it was a very good buy.
From what I can read in their feedback most of the negative ones are left in regard to their bagpipes.

I contacted them once before my bid and once after I won. Both times I got a reply within a couple of hours.
