You didn't do so badly -- the colours look quite wrong in the eBay pictures and it does look something like Crawford! The brown looks like it's some shade of red, and the picture is blurry so it's hard to determine the sett precisely. So don't give up on your eyes yet!

Well, Matt, I see you got in with the answer whilst I was still typing mine up! Well done!
To quote from Rowan Atkinson in Rat Race: "It's a race... I am winning!"

:-) My cohorts and I like to challenge each other, espceially at the games when you see so many tartans on display, to identify as many tartans from sight as possible. I have an unfair advantage, being literally surrounded by hundreds of them every day.

    Aye,
    Matt

I find it a fun game too! Have you been entering the STA monthly competitions in the Tartan Herald? I won the one in January (a Jas. Scarlett book), had the right answers in February but got them in too late (Bob Martin won), and won it again in March -- the prize is a CD of yours -- Early Highland Dress -- but I haven't received it yet! I wonder what Brian will come up with for April...

Sure is a nice looking tartan though. Good luck in your bidding. Too bad you can't find out the reserve amount. Even so, the $199 buy it now price is still attractive for a Scottish traditional wool kilt.

I wanted that tartan DVD, but I was too slow opening my mail, darn it!
