Hey, an Escape! Looks like good fun, and I dig the head wrap. I might be having to get me one 'o them shortly. I'll be curious to hear more about sailing and kilting.

    The boat looks great!

Hope you enjoy it. The smaller boats can be an absolute blast, especially if you're relatively new to sailing.

Be careful, if you think kilts are expensive and addicting, sailing will have you cursing in no time.

I just came back from sailing today too. Fortunately for me there is a lake that is no more than 30 minutes from my house so I can go after work.

Being a week day there werent really any powerboats or PWC's on the water either so I was able to go on a full run across the broad part of the lake. What a blast!

This boat has only wetted my appetite for something bigger and faster though. Now I am on the lookout for something like a holder 12 or 14.

Re: the headwrap. I really like mine and I am actually looking for some similar material in different colors. Headwear can really make a different look with a kilt, be it a headscarf, skull cap, knit watch cap, irish cap, or the more traditional highland wear. You can go from looking like a pirate to looking like a piper just by switching hats.
The downside of wearing it all day out on the lake though is that now I have a rather distinct tan line about an inch above my eyebrows. I've got to get that tanned in somehow...
