I'm sure Hank will get everything proper given a little time. Personally, so far I like the new software.

As Bubba has mentioned, all things in good time, I'm sure.
In Hank's defense, he is now at the helm of an incredibly powerful Administrator's Control Panel. One of the more daunting areas is a panel that establishes permissions for the entire forum. Each forum section has multiple switches that will determine who can and cannot view that section, who can and cannot post in that section, who can and cannot edit posts in that section, etc. A forum of this size likely has something in the vicinity of 3,000+ forum permission switches. And that doesn't even touch on all the individual user permission switches. Or the individual usergroup switches. It can be pretty overwhelming, in and of itself. If you don't believe me, look at all this grey hair.
Be patient and Hank will get it all up and running, he's a good lad. ;)

also... having a little trouble with the faces... should they be inserted into the text where they're "put" (clicked on while typing)? And... we're only allowed 1 face per post.

Good on ya! Wonderful little tool that Firefox is! I highly recommend getting the Adblock Extension to curb annoying ads (both images and Flash files).

Hi Rocky! Let me try to field this one for Hank.
Click on User CP, up there in that dark blue navigation bar, and when the User Control Panel opens, click on Edit Options, over on the left side. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of that page, you will find Miscellaneous Options - Message Editor Interface. Click on that down arrow and select Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing. Don't forget to click Save Changes, at the bottom of the page.
Voila! You know have full What You See Is What You Get text entry, with the ability to add smilies to your messages. Easy-peasy, once you know where to look, eh?

I've already gone through all of this, just a few weeks back and know how harried Hank is feeling just now. Hopefully, some of my experiences will help others here with the switch-over, that's all.
