There's certainly nothing wrong with being prepared, but don't go expecting trouble, or you will surely find it. If you expect people are going to be rude, your own actions will reflect that, and so they WILL be rude. So prepare for the worst, but expect the best.

Derek, just do it! Every "first" is difficult, but once yo get through it you only have to worry about second and third times, and those are a whole lot easier.

But seriously, although it may seem a bit daunting, you will find that few people care. You are the 'normal' one. If others have issues that is their problem.
LOL I am a NY state resident, but am in GA for the summer, at least until I go back to college. Hey the war wasnt done by MY NYers they are all long dead I think. Immagine if the Yankee army all wore kilts, that would have scared the rebs into the hills lol ;)

    Mr. McHenry,

This is the second time I've noted you making disparaging remarks about the South, Southerners, and people who own guns.

I can't speak for the other Southerners on this board, including Hank, but I don't much appreciate it.

I am a kilted Gun owning, Gun carrying Southerner.

If you don't like the South or Southerners, you know the way back to New York, don't delay the trip on my account.

    Sir,

I think you are being a little thin skinned here. I have nothing against southerners in fact people down here are perhaps a little more friendly than they are up north but ::shruggs::: Some people can't take jokes. What I said in no way disparaging about southerners. Lighten up sir and we shall all have a good time. And what army wouldnt run from a bunch of charging kilted men? ;-)

I myself am a man of honor and would never insult somone intentionaly, I do appologize if I have dishonored you sir.
