My fabric came in a couple of days ago but it wasn't until yesterday that my wife was able to get to the post office during working hours to pick it up for me. It's awsome looking stuff!! Thank you again to all the guys who ramrodded this project. This stuff is going to make a great looking kilt. I planned to make my xmarks kilt myself but now that I see the material I think it deserves to be made by an experienced kilt maker instead. That's how good this stuff looks.

    Here's a pic

Hi guys! My sample arrived in the mail today, and first thing I did was scan it in. I've put a picture of it up on my blog.

Great looking cloth! I think it would look sharp pleated to either the white line (obvious choice) or the yellow.

    Aye,

That does look fabulous! Now I can't wait for the next order so I can get a kilt made in it!

    Unhappy Still waiting

Seems the postal service is waiting to deliver my xmarksthescot tartan until you know what freezes over.
I'm sure I'll be delighted too.
    Winter should come soon.

Yep, I'm still waiting. Would really like to have it for/by my birthday. On the brighter side Kiltman, I understand the temperature is dropping there.

I don't know why, but this sounds like a line in a poor pornography blog, or maybe something from a Mickey Spillane novel, e.g. "She had two pics of the Xmarks tartan, taken with a crummy digital camera in bad lighting..."!

Either way, thanks for the pics whether they are lying or not!

Wow! The tartan really looks great. You did a great design job, Matt.

Just from where do you obtain this wonderful tartan, or was it all pre-ordered?

    Sherry
