But, there must be some other way we are all linked.Anyone else order things through Sportsman's Guide? I found that site through this forum. I also got a catalog from, Bud K.
Addresses are not apart of the info keep by this xmarks.
I received their catalog too but I feel sure it is due to one of my other magazine subscriptions. I too get Sportsman's Guide alone with about
    50 other catalogs.

I do not get the sportsman's guide.

Yesterday, I got the Albarene Royal Mail catalog, that some of you have mentioned. I also got a copy of The Scottish Banner, which contained a notation that the sample was being sent to former customers of The Scottish Lion.

Maybe they sold the mailing list.

I got kind of excited the first time I saw that, but here in Kalifornia I can't even order it to have in my home. I think it has something to do with laws concerning "camouflaged weapons."

I ordered something out of Atlanta Cutlery four or five years ago, and I've been getting Museum Replicas ever since. So a lot longer than I've been on XMarks.

What I did get out of AC was really good, it's the Kershaw speedsafe knife with the Ken Onion assist, the original bigger one, not the small ones that seem so prevalent now. There is excellent stuff in AC, just as there is cheap stuff. I prefer the AC catalog to the BudK catalog (which I did get a couple times by mistake.)

i purchased one a few years ago, it sits in my closet. It looks better in the catalog, its seems to me to be more of a skirt than a kilt. I guess you get what you pay for. I have seen some of their doublets and they seem to be ok, more costume like than i prefer.

so its in my closet in case someone wants to borrow it for a holloween costume.

I hope I didn't give the impression that I thought Hank or this forum was giving our addresses, because that's not what I meant at all, and, I'm pretty sure I never gave my address when I joined the forum anyhow. However, I have purchased things from internet companies (such as "Sportsman's Guide" which were reccomended by someone on the forum (maybe a former member now), and I was curious if this might be the connection.

I would also like to say that I don't mind getting these catalogs, they make interesting reading material for "my porcelain library". Anyhow, I'm just curious about how they got my and a few other's addresses.
