Thanks for the hearty welcome. I see my timing is a bit off, what with the meeting at the Celtic Tavern the other night. Only my favorite bar in Denver, run by great friends.
I wore my kilt there one night and a lady tried to have me park her car-- thought I was the valet! I allowed as to how I was a guest there; she replied (indignantly) "Well, you're wearing the costume!" I do understand that a better man would have parked her car, gone back to my malt whisky and let her try to find me later. It's nice to know I have a career to fall back on if the legal business ever dries up.

Hey, if it was a nice car you could have made some buckage toward more kilts! ;)

Bryan...I bet we could field a kilted frontrange softball team, now...
We'll have to play in Castle Rock...I get 2nd base.
Wait, which tartan for the uniform kilt??

Scow,
WELCOME!
Yes I am sitting in my office at home right now, but was off getting some groceries when the snow hit.
It may be one of those fast moving ones.
We could get a Kilt Night going at the Wynkoop and may get His Honor Hickenlooper Kilted.
Again glad that Denver is well represented here on the board.

How about the Colorado tartan?

Matt Newsome ought to be able to hook up a bulk order of wool for us, and stitch up the kilts, too.
Bryan...not I've given the matter thought...

Glen, I expect to see His Honor Saturday night at a reception/concert with Marian McPartland. I'll be wearing my kilt, so I'll be suitably dressed to make the suggestion.
Again, thanks to all for the hearty welcome!

Welcome from Texas, Scow, where it's chilly but dry right now.
You guys are making me cold!
I like that CO tartan.

Welcome! and ditto on the snow. We don't get anywhere near what others on this board get but no one here can drive in it. We get six inches of snow and you'd think the world had stopped.
Looking forward to Chrismas in Ontario.
 ;)

Here in North GA. a slight flurry or even the mention of snow on the news is enough to cause mass panic.
