    that looks exalent ,, wish my pleats looked that good on the one I made. would like to see the top of it as well if that would not be a problem. did you do that all by hand.

    I'll try to get some pictures of the top in the next day or two. I've got a christmas tree to put up, then some school work to take care of. But it's not a problem at all.

    That's where the pleats are off though, which is why it's covered in that picture ;)

    And yes, it was done by hand.

    If any of you guys ever chance a look at a beginning sewing book, you won't find any kilt projects in them. And it's not because of any prejudice against kilts--it's 'cause it ain't no beginner project!

    There's the top. You can see in that picture where the pleats aren't even/straight ;)

    You did a great job on that kilt, making a kilt is certainly not a project I would attempt.
