Congratulations!!! Children are such a blessing.

Welcome back to NC though you are just about in VA. If I recall correctly, Danville will be just about as close as Roxboro?

As it happens a few of us are discussing a kilt night down here, looks like you may be here just in time. Maybe we'll call it a welcome Magnus night.

Hey Mike... I will be between Roxboro & Durham... since you're a "local" maybe you'll find Timberlake on the map (look up north of Bahama & Rougemont along the 501 corridor but if you hit Roxboro you went too far north)

I'm going to be getting an apartment inside of the Triangle somewhere until the house is built and then I'll be up in Person County. I'll look for the NC kilt night thread.

I know exactly the area you will be. You're just north of Red Mountain, I did some work in Quail Roost a while back. Big town...

Yeah I'm back in there. You know the place then. Hahahaha. Kilt should go over great with the locals.

Did someone mention beer, kilts, women and Magnus? Sounds like a plan ... lets pick a date and place!

Magnus - Best of luck and wonderful news on the pending new arrival. Hope that things work out well.

    Magnus,

I actually do know that area! Lived in Raleigh (Garner and Cary) for a while and worked in RTP. Had some consultants reporting to me that lived out your way. They always liked the fact that they weren't fighting the beltline traffic to get to the office.

Good luck on the move, I would love to have 12 acres to call my own!

congrats on the new addition to the family and the move. I know first hand what its like to have a job go bad, which is why I split with my partner in the cigar shop and am now working in construction.

since I'm only an hour from NC I envision we'll be able to wreak havoc upon the locals more often than before.

    UPDATE

I just got word this morning.

This will be my last weekend in Philly. Next weekend I move to Durham, NC.

I promised my wife a steak dinner and shopping for maternity clothes as soon as I got my job squared away, so she gets first dibs for tonight. Anybody up for Saturday night? (tomorrow) The Shantys are playing at Finnigans Wake.
