Very Dapper-I'm fond of the kilt and sweater combo myself.

    Bryan...did I see you're from SC?...

Either that's a bad angle, or that's a really long sweater! Maybe you should wear a shorter sweater with the kilt, or a sporran- it looks a smidge like a mini with the longer torso top.

    Other than that, very nice!

That is a great kilt but I agree that the sweater is too long. It hides too much of that gorgeous kilt! I'd suggest either rolling the sweater up under itself or tucking it in to hide the extra length.

Far too much effort-just wash it in good warm water and throw it in the dryer. In addition to the sweater now being April fresh, you'll have a nice, rosy complexion from having the circulation cut off to the head and hands.

Bryan...did it myself once: almost required the Jaws of Life to extract me when I slipped it over my head...

Colors look great, but the hose should only be about two-fingers width below the knees.

You also seem to have a very tall niece. ;-)

Thanks Fly, and yes I'm from South Carolina. You happen to spend any time in SC?

As for the long sweater everyone, the problem of us small guys is that we have a hard time finding sweaters and shirts that fit well. Unless you want to dress like the "teen set". I actually had it rolled under, but didn't have a sporran and wasn't sure if I could pull that look off either.

Any who; THANKS for the compliments.

Ohh yes-I got my degree from Erskine College so you could say I've spent some time in the Palmetto State: I've even made it to the Carolina Cup and the Camden Cup once or twice.

Bryan...but I spent most of my time in the upstate...

    But.......did you see a horse?;)

I hear that Erskine is a fine school, went to Anderson myself. Even married an Anderson girl (native, met years after school). I guess I've spent my share of time in the upstate too.

Did a local invite you to the races, or was it college lark to party?

That's a great look, and a fine, ruddy complexion! Where's the ugly mug?

Oh it was a college thing. We'd get two parking spaces in the infield, bring food, folding chairs, a little beer and some mint julep fixin's. We would wear our best clothes and watch as the newbies lined the rail to see the horses go by, then flinch back as the clods of earth were thrown up into their faces when the race went past. In all, it was a 6 hour party with about 4 minutes of visible racing interspersed.

Wasn't there a little hole in the wall bar in Anderson called Bud and Jacks that advertised the coldest beer in the upstate? I think they had a jar of pickled eggs on the bar from the Roosevelt administration (Teddy, not Franklin). I seem to recall they were on the south side of town; but it's been more than 20 years since I was in that neck of the woods.

Bryan...and no, I never saw a horse after the first time ...
