But those are all going to get me further in - I wanted to get out - but I suspect I am addressing this to the wrong people - is there a forum for those who have escaped?
I can feel the wide eyes and lack of comprehension - 'OUT?'
so far the progression has been
A) decide that a kilt would be a good idea during weightloss
B) decide to make a 'real' one not just something with pleats
C)think about pleats and fabric
D)look up kilt making on the internet
E)empty fabric cupboard measure various pieces and select fabric for one kilt
F)make traditional design in cotton, then remake with adaption for cotton
G)Find fabric which will press and it is plaid - think that is a good thing
H)start to make a second kilt and clothes to wear with kilts
I)sort through fabric and buy stuff to make more kilts and long shirts/tunics
J)spend all my spare time making kilts and clothes and refining kilt making skills
K)wear kilts all the time and throw out lots of bifurcated clothes
L)find and join xmarksthe scot.com
I was OK up to 'F' - after that it was downhill all the way!!
