That was my original thought too. But I'm happy that it isn't and has more of the cargo look to it. The only three colors they have right now are the tan, a bright red and a deep blue, almost sky blue like. I could totally do something like a chocolate brown, or even a forest green.

I'll probably be wearing it out to a concert on Friday and the club is quite smokie, so the first washing should happen this weekend. I'll keep all posted.

Saw the red at the shop a few days ago. May have to order one once my tan survival is sold. Kinda like it, actually. Was veering away from the UK's, but that is one kilt I will have to get. A red cord original.

A forest green corduroy UK would be great and if they did do them in a mocker I'd buy them all. I'm not too big on the red design though maybe it's because I'm so fair skinned that bright reds like that only make me look paler than I actually man....I have the Workman's in chocolate brown and I like that one as well. The only one I don't wear very much is the camouflage original but I got it for VERY cheap and they don't make it anymore so I can't complain.

When I saw "corduroy" in the thread title, I gut reaction was "eew". I saw the AK cord, and didn't like it. However, this one looks awesome.

Yep, this one will get added to my wish list. I like that color too, and I agree a chocolate brown or deep forest green would be sharp. I cannot imagine red however. I wonder how those will sell.

I assume this one costs more than the standard Original UK; how much was it?

OT: I see the baby gate in the picture, is that for kids and/or pets? My wife and I bought a baby gate before we had any kids to keep our dog from getting into trouble when she was a puppy. Not that it kept her from getting into trouble, but at least we could control *where* the trouble was.
