We do a pretty good volume of sales on eBay for stained glass supplies, and I agree that it is becoming more of a hassle lately.
It seems like every month I'm having a higher and higher percentage of people who are not paying at all. And I've had buyers try to defraud me several times.
One guy made a purchase, paid for it, then once he got his purchase told me that if I didn't refund his money he would leave me negative feedback. I asked if he was dissatisfied with the purchase and he said that he loved the item, he just didn't want to pay for it. He was literally trying to blackmail me. Thankfully he made the threat through the eBay messaging system and I was able to report him and get it handled quickly, but it is amazing the types of problems that have been cropping up.
In fact, just this past week I found out that one Canadian customer paid me with a fake Canadian Postal Money Order. It was a really good forgery, and actually even fooled the bank until Canada Post refused to honor it.

I am glad I am not the only one here who has a few missgivings. Lately it seems the "yard sale" feel has gone and the "craft fair vendors" have taken over.
What's that I hear coming? Sounds like a train wreck!

It's too bad, really. There are good venders on Ebay, & plenty of individuals who just want to sell a few things. I hate to see the crooks & incompetents making it difficult for the honest ones.
