The Rugby Club
Last night we did a gig in Ebbw Vale Rugby Club. There was someone retiring from the club and they wanted to throw a party, so they asked us to do a Ceilidh. The place was absolutely heaving with rugby players and their families and supporters... 10 deep at the bar touch. I thought that if anywhere, this is where I was going to come in for some stick about my Cilt. Still, I made a concious decision that I was going to wear it, come what may. To my complete astonishment my Cilt was never a topic of conversation or looks, not even from drunken men in the loo. Everyone of all ages, treated me normally. So once again I say to anyone who is still trepid about wearing their Kilt/Cilt out in public .. Just do it. You will be pleasantly surprised.
