Ah, books. One of my great loves. I'd definately read and post, though I have no time to be a mod.

Interesting idea! I read a ton of novels, mostly crime/drama/horror stuff. I also rarely buy a book new, too darn cheap to do that! LOL

We have a book exchange setup at the various Transit garages, so I always keep my eyes open for books that look interesting. I currently have about 35 books set aside to be read. Once I'm finished with them I take and donate them back to the exchange. They cost 50 cents to buy.

I love reading and despite the nagging of my partner, I'm on here several times a day!

I'd be happy to be a participant in such a forum and would be willing to volunteer as a Mod.

I am an avid reader, I joined a book discussion group to read books that I wouldn't ordinarily read and found that fulfilling. I like Jeremiah also like to read some pretty obscure stuff, so yes I am interested. However reading about three books a week (depending on the subject matter and intensity) I find that I really could not be a moderator.

Maybe I could get some of those guys in the book group to participate, since I have been failing in getting them into Kilts.

    Question

How about a "Books and Literature" section under the "Off Topic" category?

OK. I think that a book exchange and forum is going to be a great idea.
I am going to use vBulletin like this forum b/c it is a great software.

    The domain will be www.leafexchange.com
which of course is not active just yet.

I will let everyone know when I get it up and going. I will also keep you all informed of the progress.

Hank,I'd be interested also, I've been an avid reader since my teen years (long time ago). I'm retired, so I could probably moderate if you need me, . I know a little about these black boxes called computers, but definitely not the most computer litterate person around.
