Very interesting that there is no mention that the entrant or the "friend" must be female. The lawyers were asleep at the switch on that one.
The only clause that may foil Glassman's plan might be
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
That could be used to negate an entry from a guy, I suppose.
How about having our wives enter? I don't think I'd mind sharing a double occupancy room in Scotland with my lovely bride. I'd have to insist on chaperoning the date, however.

...and I'd like more information on the kabob. The photo looks like a bit of undercooked beef, a pepper, and an onion.

Wow! A whole new cultural facet to explore. So how does one pronounce "doner" so as not to sound like a foreigner?

A hoagie bun filled with chips and garlic mayo. I never had even a slight hang over if I had one of these after the pub. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip_butty
