Sounds like good customer service. I think it looks pretty good on the ground but I can't wait to see it on you. I've been interested in the some of the more unusual pattern fabrics they offer, mostly for what you suggested, very casual wear, around the house and such.
Thanks for posting the pics.

In regards to the question about the pocket.......
I started wearing a sport kilt when my full contact fighting team decided we wanted a unique look. They are well known in the fight world, as they are great for pre/post fight attire. But we had not seen anyone else in our area wearing them We even had our own tartan picked out.
I was told that the purpose of the little pouch was for the fighter's mouthpiece, as the kilt is removed before the fight. Since it was requested so much, it became a Sportkilt standard. Sportkilt has a kilt "Irish Revenge" which is marketed as Jens Pulver's kilt. Jens was a champ lightweight.
But that is just what I was told. I am not claiming it to be the truth.
I do have two sport kilts; a poly is for really hot humid days, and is the former team tartan, and a cotton, which serves one purpose...loaner to my rowdy friends who want to try out a kilt.

I've seen a few UFC guys wearing them too, Marcus the Irish Handgrenade from the Ultimate Fighter tv show, and Tim Sylvia former UFC heavyweight champ has worn one during his entrance.

I had several SportKilts that I have since sold because I wanted some kilts with more weight that I could wear all year. I always had ordered them with sewn down pleats and belt loops. With the sewn down pleats, and with belt loops so that you can wear a belt and hide the elastic, they look good, and are quite nice for summer wear.
I know I got lots of compliments, especially from ladies when I wore mine. I found that the polyblend material held pleats quite well with very little wrinkling or creasing. But for cooler weather they are a bit light - especially in the back.
I always thought of that small pocket between the aprons, as a place wear you could stash some cash, or a seldom used credit card - something that you did not need to get to except in an emergency.

I knew there was dissent here about Sport Kilts...no matter, everyone's entitled to wear the kilt of their choice. Anyway, here's two photos (front and back). I know, I know...no sporran and no kilt pin.

I hate to say this, but I can't see any of your pics. Anyhow I have several sportkilts for "around the house wear".

Nice tartan...still not sure how I feel about it but I guess if I had one made out of cotton rather than flannel, I might have a different opinion about it....like I've said before, mine feels like flannel pajamas rather than a kilt...

Yeah, I keep getting the same thing. Apparently it's server trouble (thanks to my webhost) but I'm sure it will be fixed soon enough.
